Sankhya Kārika
Karika 65
तेन निवृत्तप्रसवामर्थवशात् सप्तरूपविनिवृत्ताम्। प्रकृतिं पश्यति पुरुषः प्रेक्षकवदवस्थितः स्वस्थः ॥६५॥
From such special knowledge, by restraining the flow, by gaining understanding, by detaching from seven types of forms, purusha looks at prakriti like a spectator, seated undisturbed.
Once Purusha gains the special knowledge, the 'kevalam-jñānam', he gains the ability to detach himself from deformative forms of Prakriti. Then he sees only Prakriti and not its deformations.
